Shoalhaven Heads Native Botanic Garden is a community project that is entirely the work of parkcare volunteers and is a community project that displays the wide range of Australian native plants that can be grown in the Shoalhaven area. Since its inception in 2009 over 300 species have been established, including rare and endangered plants. It has become a beautiful welcoming park – a place for people's enjoyment, relaxation, and quiet contemplation. Extensive plant identification signs provide a springboard for inquiring minds.
The Native Botanic Garden is open 7-4pm 7 days a week and runs guided and warmly welcomes visitors.
Admission is free, but donations assist the volunteers to maintain and further develop the Garden.
